Check-in is at the office (Cedarview East Apts - 1390 East Grand River Avenue) on

              Wednesday, August 26th between Noon and 5 pm.

If you miss the first day, you may check in during regular office hours of 10 am until 5 pm Monday through
Friday.  Unfortunately we cannot accommodate any early move-ins.

Your first rental payment is due on
August 1, 2009.  Make the check payable to "Prime Housing Group"
and then put your apartment number and the name of your building on the memo line and mail it to:

RENT:  All rent should be paid by check or money order and turned into the office on or before the first
day of each month.  We have a drop slot at the office if you are unable to turn your rent in during office
hours.  Please remember we do not accept cash.  Make all rent checks payable to Prime Housing Group
and include your building name and apartment number.  
Late fees will be assessed at $25.00 on the
5th day of each month plus an additional $5.00 per day until the total rental payment is received
in the office.

BOUNCED CHECKS:
 There is a $35.00 charge each time a check is returned to us from the bank.  
Returned checks must be replaced with a money order or cashier's check ONLY.

ELECTRICITY:  Call the Board of Water and Light to connect service at 517-371-6006, www.lbwl.com.  
They will give you a request ID # when you order service.  
You must bring this number with you at
check-in.  We cannot check you in without this number.

TELEPHONE:  Contact At&T at 1-800-244-4444 or www.att.com if you want to get a land line.  Please give
us your new phone number at check-in.  If you will be using cell phones, please provide us with each
tenant's cell phone number.  (Please indicate who will be the main contact person for your apartment.)

INTERNET/CABLE:  There are a couple ways to access the Internet (cable modem, DSL, or phone line).  
Comcast offers high speed internet through a cable modem, and often offers sale packages for both
internet and cable services.  AT&T offers DSL.  Please call AT&T or Comcast Cable (1-888-COMCAST,
www.comcast.com) for more information; be sure to ask about student specials.

FURNITURE:  You have rented a furnished apartment.  Tenants provide their own bed(s).

All the apartments are comfortably furnished, which includes living room furniture, dining table and chairs,
desk, and dresser.  Please bring your favorite desk chair.  You will need to bring dishes and other
essentials.  Please don't forget to bring a shower curtain and bathmat.  All the furniture provided by Prime
Housing Group must remain in the apartment.  The tenant may not remove the furniture from the
apartment.

MAINTENANCE:  All maintenance problems should be reported to the office at 517-337-1133 during office
hours.  When the office is closed, the answering service will take emergency calls.

PARKING:  Parking permits will be issued at check-in.  Any vehicle in the lot without a properly displayed
parking permit, without current license plates, or any non-operating vehicle will be ticketed and/or towed.  
Visitor parking permits are available on a limited basis.  When you need a visitor permit, contact the office
during office hours.

RENTER'S INSURANCE:  All personal property located in the premises shall be at the sole risk of the
Tenant.  Therefore, it is
highly recommended that the Tenant obtain proper personal property and liability
insurance.

FIRE SAFETY:  Smoke detectors and fire extinguishers have been installed in each apartment for your
safety.  Removing fire extinguishers or disabling smoke detectors is a fire code violation and puts your life
at risk.  Your safety is our top priority and keeping your fire extinguisher and smoke alarms in good
working condition is critical to keeping you safe.  You will be charged $25.00 if the fire extinguisher is not is
good charged condition and on the hook in the kitchen, and/or $25.00 per missing/disconnected/disabled
smoke detector.

For safety purposes, candles and hookah pipes are prohibited.  If a hookah pipe is observed on the
premises, additional rent in the amount of $50.00 per day while the hookah pipe remains on the premises
will be immediately due and payable.

LAUNDRY:  We provide laundry facilities in every building.  You may purchase quarters in the office.

PETS:  Sorry no pets - There will be a $50.00 per day charge each time a pet is observed in the apartment.

PAINTING:  The lease prohibits any alterations such as painting the apartment.

We want you to have a pleasant stay in your apartment and we will do everything possible to resolve any
problems you may have.  We would, however, appreciate your patience during the weeks following
move-in, since this is our busiest time of the year.
